Hardware Diagnostic Guide

  • Compass Calibration: If the compass feels stuck or inaccurate, wave your phone in a "Figure 8" motion for 3 seconds to recalibrate the internal magnetometer to Earth's magnetic field.
  • Bubble Level Test: Lay your device completely flat on a table. The bubble should center itself and turn Green. If it is permanently off-center on a flat surface, your internal gyroscope needs recalibration.
  • Accelerometer Test: The Z-Axis measures gravity. When laying flat on a desk, the Z-Axis should read approximately 9.81 m/s².
